Gary D I must admit that I'm not a big George Raft fan, and this movie did nothing at all to change my opinion. This could have been an interesting movie worth watching, but the acting is just awful. I would suggest not wasting your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review nick s Sally Gray was excellent, but George Raft in the lead role was croaky and devoid of charisma. He just seemed bored. Even getting to kiss a girl young enough to be his daughter didn't fire up his performance. The story started off with good pacing and mystery, but became a bit daft as it wore on. And you have to chuckle at the cunning spy technology of British Intelligence... chalk. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/19/23 Full Review JFM OMG could this film be any more boring? Wooden performances and a complete lack of drama or tension. Watch an aging George Raft throw punches, engage in a vigorous pursuit and seduce his much younger co-star. Truly awful. The upside is it's a wonderful time capsule highlighting a post war London, a much simpler period of air travel and the police technology of the day. Watch the first half hour for historical interest and then ditch it for something better. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I've never been a big George Raft fan and by the time made I'll Get You it seemed like he wasn't much a fan of acting, delivering a flat, monochromatic performance. There is no chemistry with co-star Sally Gray. The on-location photography throughout war-torn London in one reason, though, to watch the film.
