Detective Clayton Douglas, a troubled cop, is summoned to a remote insane asylum to investigate a bizarre case. There, he meets a dying patient named Daniel Glassman, who claims to have been possessed by a malevolent entity in the year 1862. With Sister Rose providing spiritual aid, Clayton is transported back in time as he uncovers the horrifying truth behind Glassman's possession. John H This was OK. There were some bright spots, but it was pretty slow, and some of the acting was below average. It is slow paced letting the suspense build to the film's conclusion. Tom Sizemore is excellent in the lead roll.
