ahmed s Amazing direction and solid performances by two of the best actors of the new generation of Egyptian actors. A movie that depicts the internal thoughts and desires of the average Egyptian girl and feels like a movie like every girl you know if you live in Cairo. Watch it if you wanna know more about the Egyptian culture pre the 25 jan revolution and the mentality of Egyptian women specifically and middle eastern women generally. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Somehow i enjoyed the cinematography. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the best movies in the Egyptian cinema! despite the rediculous situations that keep happening to the starlet of the movie, but i felt like it was meant to show how silly life can act sometimes to make things happen/not happen ... and how silly things can lead you to what you've spent a life time loooking for! best performace by Ghada adel ever! and the characters of ahmed Rateb & aida Reyad were just out of life! LOVE IT! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Khaled Abol Naga is certainly charming. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member i felt something was missing, i cant actually know what it is but i believe its different, loved the storyline .. but still there were some lil details that werent well done, the choice of the songs & the music was good, and i still think that khaled abou el nagga isnt that good at acting !!!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Why all the hype? Yeah, the cinematography is good, so is the choice of some locations. But that alone can never make a movie -except in the silent era maybe! The plot is almost non-existant, way too many goofs in the acting, dialogue and storyline. The only plus I can think of, and thus the 1/2 star rating, is not having the omnipresent Hassan Hosny in the cast -Though Youssef Daoud ain't any better!
