Audience Member None of the liberalistic schlock of Moore or right-wing fabrications of O'Reilly. THIS is what documentaries are made of. The stories collide in spectacular fashion, with absolutely stunning depictions of Iraqi people at peace pre-war, and living in an Orwellian society of cold gazes with the clueless U.S. Troops during the invasion. Quite frankly, the one scene where the child dies (slowly, painfully, horrifically) cements the true impact of this fantastic piece from Coles-Janess. That was a real death, not a Hollywood over-glorified deep breath... no. It was a child no older than three chainstoking, eyes flickering, blood staining her chest... and then the chest's deflation and the weeping mother. That and the further depictions of humanity in the wake of this horrible, greedy invasion, make this one of the greatest documentaries ever made, and one of the best films of 2006.
