Stephen Romei The Australian It is so ruthlessly, mercilessly, casually, relentlessly, violent that it will deter lots of viewers, which is understandable but unfortunate for the director because I think he is making a point about the slasher movie genre. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 14, 2024 Full Review John Nugent Empire Magazine It is beautifully shot and deeply considered. But it’s an approach that won’t work for everyone. Rated: 3/5 Jul 15, 2024 Full Review Kevin Maher The Times (UK) The hook, this time, is that debut feature director Chris Nash uses some formal arthouse devices to reframe the horror movie antics we’ve repeatedly witnessed... Rated: 1/5 Jul 12, 2024 Full Review Guillermo Troncoso Screen Realm Resembling a third-person video game where progress is hindered by your character's inability to run... Want to see what you miss out on in most serial killer slasher movies? According to this film: not much. Rated: 2/5 Jul 27, 2025 Full Review Rebecca Sayce FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nash is a director with a love for genre cinema, and it's abundantly clear in his craft as he doesn't quite re-invent the wheel, but gives us a fresh take on slasher films that is tense and engrossing — emphasis on the gross. Rated: 4/5 Jul 24, 2025 Full Review John Daniel Tangalin The Cinema Spot Nash’s film ends up being somewhat serious. The final twenty minutes, more or less, are where the anxiety creeps in because there’s truly a shift in the narrative’s tone by that point. Rated: 4/5 Jul 18, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Jonathan in Myrtle Beach So I wish I could give this movie 5 stars. I really dig this genre of following the killer and the quiet scenes even of him just walking. I watched this in an almost empty theater and just some of the serene woods shots and the killer just walking were really cool and made it so unique. There were some pretty crazy kills as well. Overall, there just wasn't quite enough action and the storyline isn't too exciting. Ending was ehh. But I think this is worth a watch and I hope they build off of this type of horror film. So overall I enjoyed it and am optimistic about the genre going forward!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/24/25 Full Review Marq Great scenery and amazing creative kills…but there is long travel time between each kill Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review Ketti A refreshing take on horror. Very campy with the effects. Loved the idea of seeing horror from the villains perspective. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/31/24 Full Review David J Walked out of the film in first 30min Movie is Trash I wish I could leave ZERO STARS Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/14/24 Full Review Jon This slasher has some of the best scenery and kills I’ve ever seen in a horror film, but lacks heavily in both the storyline and acting. Still a great slasher Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/03/24 Full Review Geramie S With a little editing and few changes in dialogue, this could have easily been Friday the 13th part 15 or whatever. It was enjoyable though. Seemed to rub just a little longer than it needed to and the start was also just a little too slow. The kills were fantastic and really inventive however. I would recommend to any fan of the slasher genre. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/15/24 Full Review Read all reviews
