Jeffrey P Very heavy on style, with very weird substance. Two halves of the same strange story; the first half is all mystery and build, the second half is no mystery and all downhill. In the final 15-20 minutes you try and figure out what the hell the guy is watching on the tv, then you naturally ask yourself "what the hell am I watching?" and then it's over. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/25/23 Full Review Javier E I was hoping the bad , the mischievous characters in the movie were gonna get what they deserved. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/05/23 Full Review Morgan T I. Loved its different sense of humor. At first I thought it might be my cultural ignorance. Then I realized many characters were expressing my own feelings but with other accents and slightly different ways of coping with the paranoia generated by large numbers and chaos theory as applied in modern marketing and advertising. It is a scary movie I can hardly wait to recommend to my friends Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review terry s Epically bizarre.... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Sam B The only reason i kept on watching it was because it was so weird. Good acting and really disturbing characters but at the end of the day im left wondering what in the hell did i just watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/29/22 Full Review victoria c What the hell was that? It was a very long two hours. A24 dropped the ball here. Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com Strickland frequently tests viewers' patience, but his off-putting sensibility is powerful enough to make In Fabric as mesmerizing as its subject: salesmanship as a sinister, inescapable form of hypnosis. Rated: 3.5/4 Feb 15, 2023 Full Review Christy Lemire Breakfast All Day I was mesmerized. Rated: 7.5/10 Mar 19, 2020 Full Review Jake Wilson The Age (Australia) This is not the film to see if you're after a sleazy good time. It's more like a game of hunt the symbol, with possible interpretations scattered so thickly it is hard to pick just one. Rated: 2.5/5 Mar 11, 2020 Full Review Cris Kennedy The Canberra Times (Australia) Its been some time since a film so purely arthouse has had a cinema release and I'm here for it. Rated: 4/5 Aug 17, 2022 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …well acted, mounted and designed, and defiantly weird in a way that will leaving you talking for hours/days/months afterwards… Rated: 4/5 Jun 12, 2022 Full Review Yasmin Omar Harper's Bazaar Through its exploration of commodification, the feature humorously satirises our obsession with endless acquisition, no matter what the cost.
