Strickland frequently tests viewers' patience, but his off-putting sensibility is powerful enough to make In Fabric as mesmerizing as its subject: salesmanship as a sinister, inescapable form of hypnosis. Go to Full Review

This is not the film to see if you're after a sleazy good time. It's more like a game of hunt the symbol, with possible interpretations scattered so thickly it is hard to pick just one. Go to Full Review

Phil V Nov 11 Dreadful, and I'm an arthouse fan. The 1 star is for the wonderfully engrossing Marianne Jean-Baptiste. See more David R. @Alan80 Nov 9 Original yet silly premise that falls short of cult status. Echos of Argento. Stretches of boring tacking abound but the stylish blood letting scenes are a wonder. Does it save the film? Depends on your mood. Mine was open but it made me want to watch a Gialo from the past. See more Riley M. @FuzzyMartian17 Nov 1 Wtf is happening? This red dress is flying around. Wtf am I watching? This is so random. See more Crazyfox 6 Oct 27 If you like Wes Anderson you might just like this, but with Wes you do get some Substance to go with the Style. This was all Style. I quite liked the first half but by the end I was just wanting it to stop. See more chad D. @Chaddie Oct 19 I want to give this movie half a star… usually I expect A24 movies to be great(Civil War aside), but this was just garbage, I’m almost mad at myself for not stopping it a half hour in, the half star was the ending was sort of cool, otherwise it was just filthy to be filthy, no plot, no payoff, don’t bother. See more acsdoug D @acsdoug Jun 30 Evil, killer dresses are not scary, just silly. It's listed as "horrorcomedy." Was it supposed to be funny? If so, I didn't get it. Maybe it's a British thing.
