In Like Flint boasts a much goofier tone than that of its predecessor, be it exploding golf balls, brainwashing via hairdryers, Flint talking fluent dolphin or Lee J. Cobb in drag while still hits that stride of being so preposterously 60s. Coburn's performance is much more subdued and far less energetic than his previous outing but still one of the key factors that make these movies so enjoyable, you watch these movies for Flint less so the ridiculous scenarios he finds himself in. Although the slow pacing can be a bit of a drag, this sequel to Our Man Flint is still worth a watch. PS, if anyone has a copy of Dead on Target, please send it to me 🥺

Laughs are few and far between; no genuine hilarity, only a few amusing blunders. Takes itself far too seriously and suffers for it; the film supports, not undermines Bond’s chauvinism. A terribly dated film which only serves to cement the Cold War status quo and traditional gender hierarchy.

As a historical view of 60's sexism it is classic. Costumes for the period are great. The story line that women control businesses and what they don't control they will someday inherit is very funny. I like the sarcastic script very much. Spoiler: Women take over the world was not stopped, just delayed

Tacky riff on James Bond that's not particularly funny or thrilling. Many scenes generate eye-rolls or unintentional laughs. The lone bright spot is Jerry Goldsmith's groovy score.
