Joseph Haydn found stable and lucrative employment with a wealthy prince which gave him (and his wife, i suppose) 30+ years of security while allowing his music to develop and flourish - quite a severe comparison to the contemporary greats Mozart and Beethoven. The movie depicts Haydn's relative isolation from musicians from nearby large cities with the inferred freedom to discover his God-given creative genius. In Search of Mozart, In Search of Beethoven are must-sees after this enlightening 1 hour 48 minutes.

Classical music groupies will rejoice over Grabsky's seemingly-final entry in this documentary series -- but is it indeed the last word? Who else could he possibly construct a film around? Vivaldi? Bach? Debussy? Prokofiev?
