A dumb film, but mildly entertaining if your standards are low enough to rent something called In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds in the first place. Go to Full Review

What's not to love about a movie that features time-traveling ninjas, a CGI dragon and a scene where Dolph Lundgren literally asks the king what his name is. Genius! Go to Full Review

After starring in The Expendables, was Dolph Lundgren really strapped enough for cash to star in this? Go to Full Review

Victor O Dec 1 I saw this movie listed in Natassia Malthe’s filmography, being a big fan of hers, and it also piqued my interest because the story sounded like a Kid in King Arthur’s Court. With Dolph Lundgren in it, I was interested, but I had to admit I was worried when I found out it was directed by Uwe Boll. But I was interested, so I made time. Present Day, Vancouver / The Middle Ages, Kingdom of Ehb. A powerful witch is dying as powerful mages and dark warriors find themselves in the present day, looking for a chosen warrior from their future. Granger is a veteran who has survived and broods over the loss of his comrades in arms. He carries on while attempting to live his life when he is nearly killed by agents from a past that requires him to save the kingdom. He is sent traveling back in time while growing accustomed to the different culture and time, but one thing that he does well, combat, makes him a hero to the people of Ehb as he makes friends, a lover, and many enemies in an epic battle. This wasn’t bad, it wasn’t that great, but I liked plenty of the actors who played their roles well. Lundgren, Munro, Malthe, and so much more. Yeah, the storytelling was pretty weak; it is Uwe Boll. I also didn’t like the ending that much. It could have been better. See more Robert C 12/10/2023 Pretty horrible lines, writing, and most of the acting was pretty bad. Terrible cgi and everything looks pretty cheap. I was expecting a bit more from Dolph in his fighting, with some fast and powerful cqc, but the whole time he just looks like a tired and achy old man. See more steve d 12/07/2022 It nearly becomes passable cheese but is too lazy to satisfy. See more 06/01/2021 Not Uwe Boll's best film, but its hard to top the masterpiece of the previous entry See more 01/25/2016 While the plot for the movie had a good amount of promise, Dolf's acting and the directors' directing left much to be desired. What CGi there was in the movie was so so. The choice of scenery, or location of the film if you may, was quite nice. I think the worst parts were that Dolf wasn't very heroic, camera was jittery like a hand-held and the plot twists were weak at best. See more Read all reviews
