In this made-for-TV movie, attorney Harmon Cobb (Walter Matthau) comes to the aid of his old friend Judge Bell (Harry Morgan) in a small Illinois town. It seems the judge is accused of killing the biological father of his grandson. As the crime is laid out in the courtroom, it pulls back the curtain on disturbing family secrets involving Bell's daughter, Lily (Stephanie Zimbalist). But as the jigsaw puzzle of painful facts is assembled, it might just get the judge off the hook.

It could have been a whole lot better, but sadly is lagged story rise and kinda falls flat, even for a TV movie See more 05/12/2010 well umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch.......its got a good cast of actors/actressess throuhout this movie....i think that lori hallier, james blendick, harry morgan, dee mccafferty, dennis strong, eve crawford, david nerman, cara pifko, bernard behrens, walter matthau play good roles/parts thorughout this movie.....i think that walter matthau/harry morgan were great thorughout this movie......i think that the director of this drama/classics movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie....i think that this is a good movie 2 watch with a good cast thorughout this movie n its enjoyable movie 2 watch See more 12/24/2009 I watched this movie on Hallmark, nice movie.
