Alain E @AlainE Jun 2 This is a fantastic movie about a young woman trying to stay above water when, after the unexpected death of her husband, she is left alone to raise two little girls. I would have thought that the director is female, but this is not so. The film is shot in beautiful black and white. Ms Rivas who plays the protagonist is doing an outstanding job. The narrative is slow but substantive. We understand the conflict the young mother experiences when she meets a man that shows interest. It’s not all gloom and doom. The transition happens in a believable way. I could see this movie being used in the setting of grief counseling. If this movie had originated in a bigger market, it would have been more recognized.
