C R This movie was let down in so many ways.. predictable, acting didn't flow, special effects were and space scenes out of the station were really bad. If you don't have the budget for a space SciFi, thats cool, just make something else, or allude to those things but don't show them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/17/23 Full Review Sunil S The last scene of the movie is very disappointing,I think Scott Adkins is unnecessarily pushed into this movie. Waste of the money and time . Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/17/22 Full Review Audience Member I had anticipated a movie with Scott Adkins in it would bound to be good. Not so. Plot: That 6 terrorists from 'The Wolf Pack' would be housed, in space(?). Why? The expense of such a project for five years would be in the trillions and what could they accomplish there they could not accomplish on earth? The characters: The jailer Kingsley... basically a failed interogator with a (supposed) penchant for deathmetal and no imagination. The pilot Bridges... supposedly failed NASA astronaut who has yet to work out that flying to and from the space prison qualifies him as.. an astronaut! The CIA operative Reiser... waste of Scott Adkins in a petty role that sees reaction acting taking the place of character development and why on earth would the CIA want to bring a 'whistleblower' onto the station and in the next breath be wanting her to die? The doctor Stone... if you want someone to hate - she's the one. I had more sympathy for the terrorists than this. As a character ark, SHE was the one who caused the breakout in the first place, insisted on getting the moral high ground only to again do something stupid and fall off. By the end of the film I was begging for someone to put her out of my misery - then she survives. AS an actress? Still waiting to see some actual acting though if her acting was meant to make me unsympathetic and unloving of the character - she did a remarkable job. The 'bad' guys... uh... 2 dimensional and not bad enough to qualify as terrorists so in the space prison because...? SFX? More or less at the Sesame Street level. 'Nuff' said. Guys... if you want a movie to kill a few hours, there is so much better (AND with Scott Adkins) out there. I will never get this time back. I could have been better employed counting the hairs on a random catterpiller's back. One to miss. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought i was watching a below average B movie. Turns out it was worse than that; I was watching hot garbage. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This is clearly a moderately budgeted film. The filmmakers do a good job overall but any movie that has you thinking about the budget more than what's on screen is bound to have some limitations. There is some pretty good brawling action and the film does provide a pretty effective setting for some intense sci-fi tension. Alas, the it all feels limited in spite of the filmmakers best efforts to make something more elaborate. There was also a very strange twist of events at a key moment that simply didn't feel quite natural. Overall it might provide the nostalgic feeling of a early/mid 2000's Syfy movie but if you're looking for something bigger in terms of scope, this isn't quite it.
