Regina P I have no idea how they were able to get Nicolas Cage for this Lifetime Movie of the Week. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review LEAH L That was 1 hour and 45 min out of my life I'll never get back! After the first 10 minutes I wanted out! I watched it thinking it might get better, but it never did. The best part was the end, knowing I'd never have to watch it again! If I were Nick Cage, I'd be embarrassed by his awful performance. The acting was bad, the cinematography was horrible. There was so much in the movie that really didn't need to be there! It's too bad, the story line is great and I feel like a lot of people can relate. It was just poorly directed and executed. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Liam D A movie that has Oscar Winners Faye Dunaway (Dunston Checks In, Voyage of the Damned) and even Nicolas Cage (Brubaker, Fire Birds) doing this just for a paycheck. This "Thriller" has no suspense whatsoever and is an bore Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Victor O Another day, another straight-to-video movie. This one with some decent Academy Award-winning actors in thankless roles with two lesser-known leading ladies. Angela and Brian are a wealthy doctor couple that has had bad luck in having children late in life, so they have entrusted a surrogate. Years later, after a miscarriage, they intend to try again with another surrogate. All this, as they meet a mysterious woman named Katie who grows close via a friend of theirs. But it becomes clear that this woman is too close as eventually, she manages to become their surrogate, but she is devoted to their family, especially their children. Angela's suspicions become sharpened through small tells in Katie's behavior, leading to a dangerous revelation. Before watching this movie, I felt with its cast, it practically played out like a Lifetime movie, but I got to admit, this was a nice surprise. Nicki Whelan has appeared in small movies but here she displayed phenomenal acting but everybody else came off as uninterested with its two Oscar winners or trying too hard with Gina Gershon. But it has its moments and I enjoyed them. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Ted B 3 stars; Very much the Hallmark Mystery Movie of the Week. Acting and Production worked at that level for the most part. Nicholas Cage... maybe even less. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/24/23 Full Review Orfeo M The true matter of this film is hidden. Indeed, it is the relation between rationale and irrational, Nature and Spirit. Mankind (the children) begins walking in the womb of Nature; then, must go on to another world, solar and rationale. Nature is not a monster, is the true god, but not in the whole (natura naturata). Nature has its laws to follow. Medusa is wonderful, but must be overcome. Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Something that both Nicolas Cage and Faye Dunaway will want to leave off their filmographies, and at this point that's saying something. Jul 3, 2017 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times The laughably stilted "Inconceivable" is mostly notable for who's in it - and how poorly served they are by the script and direction. Jun 30, 2017 Full Review CJ Sheu Review Film Review Baker was given only fifteen days to shoot, [...] so it’s a miracle we have such an entertaining film at all, artistry be damned. At the end of the day, if the only significant valid complaint is a bad wig, that’s not too shabby for a first outing. Aug 30, 2022 Full Review Sean Mulvihill FanboyNation.com This is a movie without suspense, nothing remotely sexy, and not even bad enough to have its own warped personality. Rated: 1/5 Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation A thriller that's too obvious to come off, too melodramatic to surprise and too slow to hold our interest. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 31, 2018 Full Review Kat Hughes THN Inconceivable offers a mysterious thriller that rises above usual genre tropes, becoming something very interesting indeed.
