08/02/2010 Jose Mojica Marins stars as a Doctor who's betrayed by his wife when she throws a glass of acid in his face and he's left for death....only he survives+plots revenge on her and her lover,its enjoyable and has a great twist ending. See more 07/13/2009 Another of Jose Mojica Marin's messterpieces, this one is slightly better because it had a decent story....no Coffin Joe this time around. A scientist's (named Jorge and played by Marins) philandering wife throws acid in his face and burns the house down with him in it in order to kill him and collect the insurance money. She then runs away with her gigolo BF. But Jorge doesn't die and he spends the rest of the film plotting revenge against her. Even though the gore effects are pretty bad, as is the acting (along with some soft core love scenes that could turn you off permanently), and Marin's meat cleaver editing and overdubbing, I liked the payoff and ending. It's still crap, but not quite so smelly crap. See more 07/01/2009 Really bland Coffin Joe-less horror effort from writer-producer-director-star Jose Mojica Marins. Dull and incomprehensible with Z-grade production values, it trudges painfully through its 85 minute running time. A major disappointment from the usually interesting Marins.
