Jane (Tori Butler-Hart) wakes up in a strange attic, in a parallel world, with seemingly no way out. She soon discovers that she is stuck in a time-loop, destined to relive the same day over and over again. With each 'reset' she begins to reclaim her memories and piece together the clues to what is happening to her and the world around her, which seems to now be devoid of human life. Only through the help of Marland-White (Ian McKellen) she will uncover the truth to help her escape from this never-ending nightmare. Is this finite or infinite, Ad Infinitum?

Jonathan K It just kind of ends, and that is never very satisfying. The film really feels like it is building up to some kind of reveal or understanding, but it ultimately leaves too much up for interpretation. It gets kind of weird toward the end, which is fine, but it felt like a tonal shift. The whole setup is strange, and it became even more dreamlike or surreal at the very end. I wish I better understood what was going on, maybe with some sort of pseudo-scientific explanation. I wish I knew if she was actually a subject in an experiment or if that is just the timeline in reality she finds herself in, where she is a little crazy and thinks she is in an experiment. The idea that there is only a single parallel universe -- which I think they said the scientist discovered and could connect to -- did not feel like a necessary part of the story, or it wasn't very well explained. It seemed like the movie was more about someone who is able to alter reality by understanding the mini-worlds theory. The look of the film is pretty good for being shot purely on an iPhone during the pandemic. The acting is kind of B-movie, but it's fine; I have seen far worse sci-fi acting. While it is pretty enjoyable, it's also quite slow for the first two-thirds, and ultimately kind of unsatisfying. The ending feels like a writing cop out; it feels like they didn't really know what is was about or how to explain it. It ends up as a half-baked, half-finished script in the end, even though I think the pieces are there for them to actually explain a pretty cool sci-fi story. Conrad C I really wanted to enjoy this. It was professionally done. It was pretty. It was well acted. But after hinting that something interesting was going to be revealed, nothing happened.
