steve d 07/12/2020 The weakest of the 3 adaptations but still great. See more 12/02/2010 Excellent version of Lawrence-Lee play of the Scopes trial. The kind of high quality production that the television networks use to present before cable took them over leaving us with a wasteland of reality shows and sitcom junk on the standard channels. Superior performances from Jason Robards Jr. and Jean Simmons and a particularly fine one from Kirk Douglas make this something well worth seeking out. See more @MilloTPue 08/22/2008 Based first on a real story and later on a theatre play, with many adaptations, this one offers enormous actings and the eternal fight among faith and reason.
