steve d The weakest of the 3 adaptations but still great. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent version of Lawrence-Lee play of the Scopes trial. The kind of high quality production that the television networks use to present before cable took them over leaving us with a wasteland of reality shows and sitcom junk on the standard channels. Superior performances from Jason Robards Jr. and Jean Simmons and a particularly fine one from Kirk Douglas make this something well worth seeking out. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Jason Robards, Kirk Douglas and Megan Follows in a classic story... Sounds like a winning formula to me! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Hard to believe there's still people today that want to argue this crap. No wonder Europe looks down on us. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Based first on a real story and later on a theatre play, with many adaptations, this one offers enormous actings and the eternal fight among faith and reason. Liked much, much the resolution. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
