12/13/2021 definitely a Must See movie! the story is great, with the characters being very well developed, and with a very good script, the CGI of the cars is very well done, even more considering the year it was released, (2001) and the soundtrack is great, the Eurobeat, like the whole series, is very well used, this film is something unique, but it gets confusing for those who didn't watch the other stages. See more 07/23/2018 Greetings, all. This fantastic movie tells an epic tale of the bold street racer, Takumi Fujiwara entering the glorious Project D. This is when Initial D's climax begun. It also tells the tale of Takumi and Mogi and their tragic, yet magical relationship. The combined efforts of Takumi and the 86 turn this movie in to a wonderful, magical, mythical tale of Takumi becoming the drift legend, even in the toughest of conditions. In summary, this is a beautiful movie for all audiences. I give it a five star rating. Goodbye. See more 04/22/2013 :). Wasn't really like a movie though. You do notice better colours and CGI. Was more of a bunch of episodes that was continuous. Was overall good... 'cause, duh, it's Initial D! See more 06/08/2012 I really like this show both for racing and it also helped me out on my racing games on Xbox 360 for NFS ProStreet, NFS Most Wanted, NFS Carbon, Grid, (Forza Motorsport#1 & 2-these two games I drive a the same eight-six I even put the same decals on it as in the shows/movies), Juiced 2 Hot Import Nights.
