A.A. Dowd AV Club What's the point of a less extreme version of a film whose whole raison d'tre was extremity? Rated: C+ Jan 13, 2018 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com Never justifies its existence. Rated: 1.5/4 Jan 12, 2018 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Inside somehow manages to be remarkably devoid of suspense throughout its brief running time. Jan 12, 2018 Full Review Joey Keogh Wicked Horror [A]lthough Inside is very contrived and silly, it's also fun, entertaining, stylistically interesting and, at times, blackly comic Rated: 5/10 Oct 1, 2019 Full Review Mikel Zorrilla Espinof It does not propose anything really interesting, and regarding its heritage the movie is never able to impact us in the same way. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 14, 2019 Full Review Joe Lipsett Nightmare on Film Street If you haven't seen the original, Inside (2016) is fine, albeit slightly predictable and a little ridiculous in its last act. If you've seen the original, the only reason to watch this is to satisfy your curiosity Rated: 2/4 Feb 3, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Jeffrey P Not an idea that couldn't work, just one that didn't fully work due to being too contrived and melodramatic to suspend disbelief from one bad character decision to the next. Was ready for it to end half-way through and by the end left with only one thought - 'why?' Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/23 Full Review Anne F Sarah had the opportunity to kill the psychopath who killed her mother, two friends and two police officers 4 or 5 times and walked away. It's a real stretch of common sense to relate to this. It ruined the whole movie for me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This feels cheap even by the standards of indie movies, and the writers have this mindset that every character in a movie should be as brain dead as they are. Every character in this movie lacks common sense, and it makes the overall movie a FRUSTRATING sit through. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I haven't facepalmed so many times before, and a cast of characters so stupid since St Agatha. A plot full of holes doesn't help either, and then there's the fact that the villain is outright getting away with their cruelty, and I'd say these characters would deserve what's happening to them if the movie justified it. Yes, they lack common sense, but they aren't characters who deserved it either (except the cops, who literally had no reason to be THAT stupid and useless, because even the writers should've known better), so it makes the film outright vile too. Oh and it's also lacking any real suspense, the acting is porn-level acting at best, and it's BORING (the worst crime any horror film can make). I didn't even know this was a remake, and if the original is any good or at least better than this, then whoever wrote this should be ashamed of themselves for such HORRIBLE writing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This film does a lot of cool things and gets quite a bit right, but this film has a lot of frustrating writing as well. 6.6/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was so bad: I had to make an account so I can tell you this Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Just a terrible movie and i am just reviewing it to drop its rating as much as possible please spare yourselves this movie.
