It’s entertaining, and the main character is compelling, but this thing was really clunky and scattershot, plotting-wise. There are some good ideas here, but this feels like the first draft of the film. The structure doesn’t make much sense, and there’s weird lack of attention to detail. It’s not a disaster, but it’s one of the weaker Insidious films.
