Audience Member Though suffering from unnecessary characters like the 'Deep Throat' parody in the film, there are some choice moments that make this film a stand out hit. An opening musical number establishes the duties of an intern, and after that, the movie is hit or miss. You'd never expect some of fashion's largest icons to appear in this movie but there they are. Intern is a campy delight that stands out in terms of movies about the fashion industry. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Trite thin plot, with charactures, and only a few mildly amusing lines does not make a movie... Top it off with 2 too many throwup scenes... Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member worse version of devil wears prada. eww Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Guilty pleasure movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I like Dominique Swain. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Dominique may not be the best actress alive but she's in some of my favorite movies. There's just something about her that I'm addicted to. This movie is very funny and romantic. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Stephen Macmillan Moser Austin Chronicle Intern isn't a particularly deep movie, but, to paraphrase Karl Lagerfeld, fashion is not the same thing as feeding the hungry and curing the ill. Jan 30, 2018 Full Review Emanuel Levy Variety The fashion world is ripe with possibilities for a biting satire, but Lange's Sundance Festival entry is pedestrian, offering a disappointingly flat look at the glamour industry. Dec 18, 2006 Full Review Noel Murray AV Club A film as feeble as Robert Altman's Ready To Wear without Ini Kamoze to herald the hotsteppers. May 29, 2001 Full Review Ken Fox TV Guide This relentlessly name-dropping comedy lacks the teeth that could have made it really interesting. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 16, 2002 Full Review Wesley Lovell Apollo Guide Rated: 45/100 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International Breathless and campily entertaining, despite its mean-spiritedness and expositional lulls.
