Ekin E. @ekinergok Jan 18 Interstate 60 is one of those rare movies that feels like you accidentally discovered a secret. It’s clever, weird in the best way, heartfelt without being cheesy, and packed with so many memorable moments that it honestly feels like three great films hidden inside one. The concept is brilliant: a road trip that isn’t really a road trip, and a journey that’s less about distance and more about truth. It plays like a modern fairy tale mixed with a philosophical comedy, but it never gets pretentious. Instead, it stays fun, unpredictable, and surprisingly emotional. Every stop along the way feels like its own mini-story, each one with something sharp to say about people, choices, and the strange rules we live by. It’s imaginative, thought-provoking, and genuinely funny, and it rewards you for paying attention. The cast is fantastic, the writing is smart, and the whole movie has this timeless, offbeat charm that’s impossible to replicate. It’s the kind of film that makes you think, “How is this not a bigger cult classic?” If you like movies that are original, slightly surreal, and full of meaning without forcing it, Interstate 60 is a must-watch. A hidden gem in every sense. See more Andrzej K Nov 14 Delightful and meaningful entertainment! Interesting story with an unexpected plot. Thoughtful screenplay. Great acting and beautiful outdoor scenery. See more A R Sep 29 I agree with the reviewer who said it seemed like it was made in the 90s, somewhat earlier than it was. I think it would have done well as a television show in the 90s; it reminded me of Sliders. There was a tonal disconnect at times that made it difficult to pin down. The production values were high, but pretty much everyone was overacting except, oddly, Christopher Lloyd. The overall theme and plot were quirky and interesting, but at times felt strange in a pointlessly edgy sort of way. Also, someone involved definitely had a fetish for women with little baby-girl voices and it was creepy as heck and way too noticeable. Interesting concept, missed execution, especially given all the big names involved. See more Troy R @Grim16 Aug 24 Allstar cast in a classic 2000s made for tv kind of movie. The charm of the characters and the story is what keeps this movie from being another 1 star film with big names to sell it. The setup for every scene/mini-story is like watching an episode of twilight zone but unlike those types of shows these stories help build and shape the main characters journey. Comedy was good, often with some wit to it. Ending while cliche was acceptable because of how well the story was executed. Watching in 2025 it has some funny parallels that can be drawn, and despite being over 20 years old the story still feels like a trip one could take today. Enjoyed the time very much and certainly beats many things being made today. See more Tim P May 22 Really wanted to watch a whimsical magical realism movie, specifically something with the same kind of feel as Stranger Than Fiction. This really scratched that itch. It's silly, bizarre, but still grounded. I highly recommend if you're a fan of that kid of vibe. See more John A @ExcessMale Apr 21 Interstate 60 is not the typical place you would find an all-star cast in. The vignettes are independently entertaining and even eventually prove to be intertwined with each other. For many, this low profile made-for-TV flick will be thin on thematic juice and focused storytelling. See more Read all reviews
