Rich S Don't be like me and find out that Bernadette Peters was just a cute, funny lady who had a fling with Steve Martin. She is so much more of an entertainer than I ever thought. I didn't have much to go on as a young boy watching "The Longest Yard" and seeing her as prison warden Eddie Albert's secretary. She sings like a siren and she sparkles in this professionally done performance.
