[The drama] is vividly sustained, and the technical tricks employed in a cleverly handled production make the incredible credible enough to prove grisly. But there is a leavening of humor, too. Go to Full Review

The process of restoring the protagonists visibility is probably the most exceptional part of the movie... a satisfying morbid curiosity. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Ted B @Movieaddicted Sep 26 3. 5 stars; A sequel to the original film from the novel by H. G. Wells, "The Invisible Man." The special effects from the original were recreated to produce the invisibility. This one had a more audience-pleasing ending. The film also served as a springboard to his career in horror movies for Vincent Price. See more Andrew L 07/27/2024 Vincent Price's fourth film doesn't exactly launch him into the horror hall of fame; however, it is nice to see him as one of The Universal Studios Classic Movie Monsters. In this movie, Price is a man on death row made invisible for a chance to clear his name. It's more of a sci-fi noir than a horror movie but it is still a worth sequel to it predecessor. See more The H 02/08/2024 repeats an interesting idea with no innovation, other than very few laughters See more Valerii Ege D 09/13/2023 Better movie than its predecessor. Every aspect of the movie, not only the invisible man scenes, is perfect. The film flows till the end without any hesitation. No boring conversations. See more Steve D 04/07/2023 Has its moments but lacks any surprises. See more 02/22/2021 I had never heard of "The Invisible Man Returns" prior to seeing it on "Svengoolie" February 20, 2020. Going into this movie I did not expect much. However I was pleasantly surprised at how good the movie is. It may not be the classic the original film is, but it is well worth seeing in my opinion. The plot is basically "The Invisible Man" meets "The Fugitive" so nothing new there. What helps this movie are the impressive special effects that still hold up even by today's standards and the late Vincent Price's excellent performance as the protagonist. The supporting cast is terrific also. It was a treat seeing a pre "Batman" Alan Napier as Mr. Spears. It took me some time to recognize him because he talks with an Irish accent in the movie. I was also never bored despite the fact that you pretty much know where the story is going, still "The Invisible Man Returns" is a very entertaining and well made movie. Again I will say it is well worth seeing. See more Read all reviews
