Andrew L Vincent Price's fourth film doesn't exactly launch him into the horror hall of fame; however, it is nice to see him as one of The Universal Studios Classic Movie Monsters. In this movie, Price is a man on death row made invisible for a chance to clear his name. It's more of a sci-fi noir than a horror movie but it is still a worth sequel to it predecessor. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review The H repeats an interesting idea with no innovation, other than very few laughters Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review Valerii Ege D Better movie than its predecessor. Every aspect of the movie, not only the invisible man scenes, is perfect. The film flows till the end without any hesitation. No boring conversations. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review Steve D Has its moments but lacks any surprises. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review Liam D A Young Vincent Price (Catchfire, Beach Party) shines in one of his underrated roles in a sequel that's almost as good as the original Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/03/22 Full Review Audience Member I had never heard of "The Invisible Man Returns" prior to seeing it on "Svengoolie" February 20, 2020. Going into this movie I did not expect much. However I was pleasantly surprised at how good the movie is. It may not be the classic the original film is, but it is well worth seeing in my opinion. The plot is basically "The Invisible Man" meets "The Fugitive" so nothing new there. What helps this movie are the impressive special effects that still hold up even by today's standards and the late Vincent Price's excellent performance as the protagonist. The supporting cast is terrific also. It was a treat seeing a pre "Batman" Alan Napier as Mr. Spears. It took me some time to recognize him because he talks with an Irish accent in the movie. I was also never bored despite the fact that you pretty much know where the story is going, still "The Invisible Man Returns" is a very entertaining and well made movie. Again I will say it is well worth seeing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
