How wonderful that such things can still exist, and that there are those who use their success to such ends. Hats off to Gondry. I must profess to an admiration of both going in to this, but it wasn't disappointed...continuity perhaps.

Michel Gondry is extremely talented at visualizing everything so it's really fun to watch him paint Noam's thoughts here. While the film is just a random mess, it's an engaging one at that. Obviously, most people will ignore this work for the structure of a normal conversation set to animations but there is some insight to be gained here that's worth watching.
