Audience Member One of Griffith's best films, about the hardships of a family in Weimer Germany following the war, when money was virtually useless and food and jobs were scarce. Shot mostly on location in Germany. Hard to find, but available online if you dig. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member It's certainly better than this film, which must have seemed dated even in 1924.
