In this gripping tale of survival, a horrific outbreak known as the ITCH! spreads like wildfire, turning its victims into frenzied, self-destructive shells of their former selves. Jay, a widower grappling with grief and desperation, seeks refuge in a seemingly safe department store alongside his estranged young daughter, Olivia. However, the sanctuary they believed would protect them becomes a nightmarish trap, revealing that the true danger lurks among them. With the infection closing in and paranoia escalating within the group, Jay and Olivia are forced into a harrowing battle--not just against the outbreak outside, but against the darkness within human hearts when faced with survival. Keri O'Shea Warped Perspective This is no simple gore fest, there are no hordes of extras, no gallons upon gallons of blood. Instead, this is a surprisingly intimate horror story which relies as much on inference and clue as it does on overt violence. Dec 20, 2024 Full Review Robert W. Monk Flickering Myth Itch! is an old-school horror tale which successfully brings in perfectly explained motivations to its characters’ actions and explores difficult feelings and emotions. More than anything else though, it’s a fun horror flick. Dec 16, 2024 Full Review J Hurtado ScreenAnarchy Kang’s efficient use to location, sparing – but effective – use of practical gore effects, and powerful emotional central themes make Itch! a film that definitely deserves some attention. Dec 13, 2024 Full Review Bee Delores B-Sides & Badlands Both the resilience of human nature and our fragility throb at the center of Itch!. Its focus is far less on the horror than it is on the emotional threads that keep the story linked together. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 12, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews
