      Steve D The script isn't much but better than normal and the star shows she is a decent actress. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Sonja in eye popping Technicolor. While she was never a very good actress she has a certain charm and of course she skates skillfully. Neither can be said of her leading man Micheal O'Shea who has the screen presence of lint. Watch this for the stunning if sometimes ludicrous costumes and the skating sequences. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Okay, it was a parent who wanted to see Sonja Henie, "she was so cute when she runs on the ice"; so I rented this from Netflix. I was surprised. The story is simple but engaging. Her dance skating routines seem simple compared to today's skaters, but they are entertaining, and she did have that something special. Realizing where production techniques were then, this is something to see. Loved the technique with the ice-gell in the big numbers. I enjoyed it and found myself thinking about it later.
