Matthew D I actually saw this one before the original, renting it by accident because I thought it was the original. The day I saw it, I couldn't even remember one single frame of it. Rented the original the next day and never forgot it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/12/21 Full Review Audience Member Its gory parts save it from an otherwise dull film Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review don s Having not seen the original, I cannot compare this remake with it. I hope the original was better. Bijou Phillips underplays her role as the mother of the titular "it" to the point of being almost comatose. There is a bit of blood, but not enough shown of the little tyke for my tastes. Not worth your time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member not a good film. nice idea, but poor plot and movie Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Ugghh...Don't remake classics if you can't!!! Anton Bitel Little White Lies Bijou Phillips... lacks the presence let alone the gravitas to carry off the tragedy of having created her own monster, and so the film's examination of maternity and madness falls short Nov 13, 2009 Full Review Nikki Baughan Roll Credits Shoddy, ploddy and utterly stupid, It's Alive is proof that the Hollywood horror genre is in desperate need of some CPR.
