Lee Margulies Los Angeles Times A boring addition to the long line of CBS cartoon specials based on Charles Schultz's Peanuts comic strip characters. There was no plot and the animation of Snoopy break dancing was uninspired. Jun 29, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Drew L It's a fun, music themed cartoon. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/22/22 Full Review Tom R It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown is the most insane Peanuts film ever made because there is absolutely no plot and it's so 80's. This actually happens in the movie: Snoopy briefly dresses like Tony Montana from Scarface and dances like the girl from Flashdance. Musical sequences happen for no reason and the music itself is so unlike any Peanuts special because it's synthesized and one of the singers sounds like Simon LeBon from Duran Duran. Peppermint Patty, who isn't a harpy in this one, gets her head caught in a binder. It's a crazy movie, but even without any connected story, It's Flashbeagle is very funny for intentional and unintentional reasons.
