Lou Lumenick New York Post A campy, brightly colored musical comedy based on a popular '60s Dutch sitcom that's unlike any other film out there. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 29, 2004 Full Review Stephen Holden New York Times This nonsensical Dutch movie musical rides on the dubious assumption that camp and infantilism are the same thing. Rated: 1.5/5 Oct 28, 2004 Full Review Ed Park Village Voice Styles range from cabaret to barbershop to toe-tapping bubblegum, and the rainy-day serenade at the start nods Cherbourgward, with a soupon of Low Countries sass. Oct 26, 2004 Full Review Stephen Rebello The Advocate An amiable, gumdrop- colored, frenetically campy -- if ultimately exhausting -- musical fantasy. May 27, 2022 Full Review Christopher Null Filmcritic.com Sweet and innocent to a fault, the wild tangents the movie takes us on ultimately feel strange for the sake of being strange Rated: 3/5 Dec 28, 2004 Full Review Marta Barber Miami Herald Yes Nurse, No Nurse is fun -- if you get into its groove. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 29, 2004 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Loes Luca's greatest movie role ever, entertaining in this musical-comedy for all ages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, so funny, original, and a little crude. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This was the last film I watched with Alan at the Landmark Theater in Royal Oak, Michigan, one week before his untimely death. I remember that everyone was smiling and laughing as they left the theater. I have watched it again since then, just because it's a really funny, quirky film. In the Netherlands it would probably get a G rating. In the U.S.A., I'm not so sure. Enjoy! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member It's zany and campy. I love it! Has a fine cast and good songs. It's terribly funny at times, too. Totally worth owning!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Less weird than expected, mostly fun, a little slow. Light-hearted musical so quirky that I couldn't stop laughing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
