Tracy Moore Common Sense Media Silly live-action twist on classic fairy tale is goofy fun. Rated: 3/5 Jul 2, 2013 Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk Jack and the Beanstalk seeks to emulate the playful wit of the wondrous The Princess Bride but falls woefully short. little k What a waste of such great actors. This movie is horrible and cringe. Plus it mixes in Jack in the Beanstalk with other random fairy tales (like Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, etc.). Whose idea was it to make the goose human?! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/31/24 Full Review Audience Member Gilbert Godfreid and the actor that plays jack are excellent in the film. An all around different performance with much more fun and laughter!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie may have not been what I expected, but I have got to say it was a really funny adventure. But you know what I don't get, I don't get why in the original fairytle, jack goes on an adventure alone but in this version he is acompanied by a half gooseman and a girl. But after all the characters were pretty good, I like how they added friendship and romance to this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member There's a lot of famous faces but it's not really for me. Literally. It's definitely one for the kids. I get the feeling they were aiming for a Princess Bride kind of vibe but it doesn't get anywhere near that level of wit, charm or fun. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Good Action + Adventure + Poor Folk Tale Movie................................. Funny + Low Budget but good work Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Very enjoyable, I loved the amount of talented actors in it.
