SURFILMUSIC a new documentary chronicling Jack Johnson's evolution from surfer to filmmaker to world-renowned musician. The film traces how Johnson's early years making surf films with close friends became a foundation for a much broader creative life, capturing moments in and out of the water that later surfaced in his songwriting. Blending rare footage from those formative surf films and Johnson's personal and family archives with present-day reflections, the film weaves together how lived experience, friendship, and exploration shaped the sound and stories behind the music.

Loved the theatre, clean and comfortable. The film was beautiful to look at, so well edited, picture and sound are so clear, color saturation amazing, I love everything about this well crafted documentary and everyone in it. Tamayo what a beautiful human, heartbreaking loss mahalo

I have grown up with Jack Johnson being one of my all time favorite bands. To see how he has grown up with film and surfing, family and friends really makes me understand why his music has been so impactful in my life and others. This movie was artfully and thoughtfully put together well. Kept my kids (4,7&9) entertained. It was short and laid back. 9.54 out of 10
