In this comedic documentary, Johnny Knoxville heads a crew of stuntmen, skateboarders and all-around lunatics as they prank, embarrass and torture each other in the name of fun. The antics range from childlike -- the boys don panda suits for a romp through Tokyo -- to grotesque and life-threatening. A golf cart demolition derby turns downright dangerous. Live gators nearly chomp maniac Steve-O. Filmmaker Spike Jonze and Knoxville, in heavy makeup, test the public's patience for the elderly.

So what's all the fuss about? If people want to staple paper to their inner thighs, let them. The question is whether you're prepared to pay to watch them do it. Go to Full Review

Superficial shenanigans don't diminish its effect. It's a ridiculously funny barrage of taboo pranks, practical jokes and tests of both social altruism and Bam Margera's parents' patience - most of it failsafed so that the foolishness never subsides. Go to Full Review

Yash B @yashbansal 3d I watched two of the newest "Jackass" movies before finally going into the older movies. I have never watched much of the series, but I felt this first movie feels like an extended TV episode. I do think it is entertaining, once I was willing to meet the movie where it was at and get on the wavelength. There's a mix of dangerous and disgusting stuff, but I feel the movie feels really disconnected at times, and it also just feels old with the way it's shot and put together. Overall, it's the start of a cinematic universe that is a franchise full of moments that admittedly make me laugh, and despite being repulsed, I can't seem to look away. See more Robert H. @Rwhobbs198 Apr 27 Jackass: The Movie (2002) is exactly what it sets out to be—wild, ridiculous, and unapologetically stupid in the best way. I was 17 when I saw it in theaters with friends, and like a lot of kids at the time, we were already out there making our own dumb videos. This movie felt like the big-league version of that chaos. There’s no real deep story or hidden meaning here—just a collection of outrageous skits that somehow all land. Moments like the Butterbean fight, the snow cone, the gators, and the rental car bits are still memorable and genuinely funny. It’s over-the-top, immature, and completely reckless, but that’s the point. For its time, it was hilarious and instantly became a classic. A pure snapshot of early 2000s humor that still holds up if you know what you’re getting into. I must have watched this movie a 100x and their likely will be another time or two before it's said and done.
