Audience Member It's hard to believe Jackboots on Whitehall isn't amazing, but, it's true. In fact I fell asleep. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Totally bonkers alternative WWII movie about the Germans invading England though a tunnel to London , all animated with dolls. I kid you not. Slow start but preserve, it get gets funnier Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member With a great cast and an excellent story complete with an awesome score. This movie is well worth a watch. Failing short of comedy in many places is its only flaw. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member a feature film made using action figures, I've seen it all now, 10 mins binned Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Is toys plus stop-motion!!! Yes, you will laugh with this movie and also if you are studying this (for example, a Social Science class about genocide and all the things humans create and do on wars like animals, then you will enjoy it). I'm against human stupidity, wars and genocide itself (even calling themselves Nazis and bla bla). But yes, is just that, a movie about a hot toy wanting a war to attract the nice lady from Britain and I can't deny it has good voice overs and camera takes too....enjoy and hasta la proxima. - April 5, 2013. Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) Sadly plumps for lowest-common-denominator idiocy of the let's-put-Hitler-in-a-frilly-dress variety. Rated: 2/5 Oct 8, 2010 Full Review Kim Newman Empire Magazine The Dad's Army premise is undermined by a limp script and soggy Braveheart pastiche, although the strong voice cast prevent disaster. Rated: 2/5 Oct 6, 2010 Full Review Dave Calhoun Time Out A notable voice cast, including Ewan McGregor and Timothy Spall, makes very little mark at all. Profoundly silly, it should be. Pointless, it shouldn't. Rated: 2/5 Oct 6, 2010 Full Review Christopher Tookey Daily Mail (UK) Pointless, puerile and a shameful shambles. Jan 4, 2018 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com A refreshing offering of comedic insanity. The movie tuckers out quickly, but when its mix of chaos and slapstick comes together, it makes for a highly enjoyable curiosity. Rated: B- Jul 26, 2011 Full Review Henry Fitzherbert Daily Express (UK) For sheer oddity value this creation of filmmaking brothers Edward and Rory McHenry must rank as some kind of collector's item.
