Carol Buckland CNN.com Jackie Chan's First Strike is kung-foolishness of a very entertaining sort, and action fans will get a kick out of it. Kevin P The movie has interesting stunts and funny humor but unfortunately it lacks the formula to make a good movie. If it wasn't for the stunts and humor, I would not had finished watching the movie Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/16/23 Full Review Thomas H First Strike is a smorgasbord for fans of action comedy. While maybe not as strong a film as the previous entries in the Police Story series, First Strike sees Chan at the top of his game in regards to choreography and sheer entertainment value. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/23 Full Review Joshua C The ladder scene alone keeps this film at the top of Jackie Chan's must-watch action movie list! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Josh G This is a funny and random film moving from set piece to set piece. For a forth film a series it knows how to have fun. The scenes that get us to the action are funny silly and over the top almost roomesc and silly to a cult classic. Watch this film it's so much fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/20/22 Full Review James S The Police Story series of films consists of 6 movies. The last 2 in the series are garbage. The first 4 however, are really good, even great. This is the fourth, and sadly the weakest, of the original 4 movies. I'd watch the other 3 first if you can. The third entry in the series is more commonly known as Supercop and was directed by Staney Tong, the same director who made First Strike. This is a good watch, but there are much better Jackie Chan movies. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review Audience Member Totally underrated JC movie. These are some of his best fight and stunts. It's a totally easy to follow comic book style movie. Totally enjoyable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
