Audience Member Enjoyable light comedy about feuding brothers but the direction is handled extremely commercially. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Had a high expectation of this movie but turn out to be not that good. Family conflict around Indian recipes was the backbone of the movie. Lacking Indian food footprints though is a pity. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Never would've watched this if it hadn't been set in Leicester. The story was slight, and it felt like it ended about 15 minutes too early. But, on the whole OK-ish. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Good film , funny Well made Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member A gem of a film, funny, tender, crossing borders: a story of food, feud, family and live everyone can relate to. The cast is superb! More indie films pleaassse! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member ...the film isn't some horrible, unlikable mess. It's more just harmless and well-meaning but vague and uninvolving film that exists. At least it's short. Mike McCahill Guardian Not bad, just terribly mild. Rated: 2/5 Sep 5, 2013 Full Review David Gritten Daily Telegraph (UK) The story may not engage the mind, but your saliva glands will be working overtime. Rated: 2/5 Sep 5, 2013 Full Review Trevor Johnston Time Out No shortage of appetising ingredients here, yet the execution sadly fails to make the most of them. Rated: 2/5 Sep 4, 2013 Full Review Katie Smith-Wong Flick Feast Jadoo is the delightful result when you mix 'Bend it Like Beckham' meets 'Waitress'; a simple, enjoyable comedy that will make your stomach growl. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 21, 2019 Full Review Ben Nicholson CineVue A warm comedy that neatly balances its specific and more general themes and is liberally seasoned with laughs. Rated: 3/5 Mar 2, 2019 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Colourful and engaging, this subculture comedy keeps us smiling with a mouth-watering mix of delicious food and lively characters.
