Richard Tedious, slow moving film that is supposed to be an action movie. The dialogue is wooden and the story line weak. Wondering who handled the costumes. The 4 star marine general is also wearing NCO stripes. Really? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/08/22 Full Review Michael M Give me a break! As a Marine seeing a general wearing Gunnery Sargent stripes is a GD disgrace to all of us Marine's. Who ever they hired as a technical advisor should never work in this business again. 😒 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/30/22 Full Review Audience Member almost every character mumbles, whispers, or slurs through their dialog while out of place boy band music or out-sized sound effects play loudly in the foreground. i tried listening on different speakers and headphones, but the character dialog was incomprehensible regardless. compounding this problem, the mixing wasn't even consistent. if i could find an optimal volume to hear the whispers in one scene, the very next scene would send me reeling from screams yelled at full volume directly into a tin can encased microphone. punished for the effort i guess. i would only tolerate audio this bad if it had been recorded by a flip phone during actual events. in the few instances where i was able to decipher what someone was actually saying, i'd quickly wish i hadn't - the writing was somehow worse than the audio. much of the soldier dialog in particular would be more believable coming from a group of misguided jocks heading out on a doomed camping trip to crystal lake than from a hand-picked group of covert military elites. think low budget saving private ryan but written by kamala's speech writer and mixed by flipper using an etch-a-sketch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member They run around at night using night vision, but the goggles are in the up position and they aren't looking through them, but the audience is being shown the green video... They get in a firefight, but don't use their mounted machine guns but just trade small arms fire with the "bad guys." At the end of the movie, there is another firefight, they use their mounted machine guns, have drone cover which is providing headquarters with a live feed, but somehow or other misses "the ghost" sniping away from the bushes 100 yards away... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Very cheesy movie. Good story line but they blew it. And they need to fire this costume designer. The uniforms are way off. Marines don't wear the black ega on their collars when wearing the service Charlie uniform. And who was the general? Was he a 4 star which would be the commandant or is he a master sergeant. And then at the end even marsoc isn't allowed to have a beard in dress blues Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not only bad, it lacks any realism at all. There is a scene where the 4 star marine general also wears Gunny chevrons, really? Oh by the way, no chance in hell that the Commandant of the Marine Corps is running an operation in Israel. None of the timelines make sense and everyone seems to have an endless supply of ammo. Did I mention they seem to forget they have M203s and vehicle mounted weapons until the very end of the movie. Also, where does their drone support disappear to in the final fight? Lastly, beards at the funeral in Service Dress? The Israeli pilot doesn't have a dress uniform? It's almost too bad to deserve 1/2 star. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
