MFB Critics Monthly Film Bulletin 02/05/2018
This is a long film, but during its whole course it does not seem to absorb one's attention. The plot is artificial and rather in the convention of the novelette, and the dialogue is trite to the point of pathos. Go to Full Review

William R Jan 12 It is preposterous but fun with a terrific supporting cast and Margaret Lockwood in her prime as Jassy who marries a man she does not love too acquired his house for the man she does love and get accused when her husband is poisoned of his murder. The supporting cast has prime of British acting talent all rising to the occasion. Ripe ham. One to sit back and enjoy. See more 01/02/2012 Colorful melodrama is predictable yet fun.
