      Audience Member Love Jesse Ventura...not this movie, though. The story was flawed with inaccuracies. He was not a Navy Seal. He was a frog that they eventually merged into being a Seal, after he retired. They used story lines for wrestling that happened when he wasn't with that company. And, they had him wrestling modern wrestlers even though his career happened fifteen years prior. Please don't Hollywood up stories...your audience is smarter than that. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member You'd think that a guy who went from being a Navy SEAL to a professional wrestler to the governor of Minnesota would have lived an interesting enough life to not distort the facts too much; this awful TV movie not only distorts the facts about Jesse Ventura, it nukes them with an atomic bomb! Featuring a bland lead actor who doesn't possess an ounce of "The Body"'s immense charisma, this film will likely just bore casual viewers, but wrestling fans will be rolling around the floor with laughter. Obviously, they could not secure permission to use the names of the World Wrestling Federation and Vince McMahon, so any accuracy about Ventura's wrestling career is completely non-existant; its absolute height of hilarity is when they do a completely false and fictitious recreation of the infamous Vince McMahon/Bret Hart screwjob (chronicled in the excellent documentary, "Wrestling With Shadows") and try to pretend that was the reason Jesse got out of wrestling!
