Rahul Desai The Hollywood Reporter It’s cuckoo on many levels, but the film will have you believe that Everything Is Planned. Jun 4, 2025 Full Review Proma Khosla IndieWire The film tragically underuses Ahlawat, who chews scenery impressively as a villain but lacks any real depth or motivation. Rated: C Apr 29, 2025 Full Review Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express ... this film is so lazily constructed that it doesn’t even bother thinking of a new or even a new-ish title...and then proceeds to cobble together a plot in which every scene and sequence has been done to death... Rated: 1/5 Apr 28, 2025 Full Review Rohan Naahar The Indian Express For Netflix to produce a movie like Jewel Thief with our subscription money isn't all that different from taxpayer funds being used to erect public Wi-Fi towers that'll never work. May 3, 2025 Full Review John Serba Decider It’s a bad cartoon. And it goes on for nearly two hours. May 1, 2025 Full Review JK Sooja Common Sense Media While the performances themselves are good, committed. and appropriate for what the film wants, all the non-progressive representations of masculinity, men, and women make for an underwhelming and unintentionally hilarious experience. ARNEZ C This movie makes me kind of want to be a jewel thief I did it for his family it's honorable I enjoyed The time I had with it explosions action I mean what more do you need heist on top of that it's really well done if they made another uncharted movie it probably be so the similar to this! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/22/25 Full Review Vincenzo d Ok, that's a one and a half hour of my life I will never get back. The story superficially seems alright, but when you start using three braincells instead of two it becomes clear there are many, many loose ends to it. Why on earth would Rajan need to call Moosa to ask if he wants to buy the Red Sun before actually stealing it, and then to become death threatened by him? He doesn't owe Moosa anything yet at that point if he steals it on his own accord. I would get it if Moosa had any stake in the game, but he just needs to sit back and relax. It just doesn't make sense on so many levels, and a lot of the violence feels overdone because there is no real stake in the game. One thing that is the most important in moviemaking, is storytelling and the script in this movie just downright sucks. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/12/25 Full Review Audience Member Teleporting scenes and characters...the whole sequence does not connect.. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review Saswati T Bollywood really cannot make a decent heist movie and it still refuses to give up. Jewel Thief, with its unoriginal title, was nothing but an attempt again. Jaideep Ahlawat and Saif Ali Khan are better actors and both seem to like to experiment. But I hope before they do so, they also read the script with more scrutiny. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Delphic S My God! That was awful!!! Trust Bollywood to come up with such a bad movie. What a waste of my time! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/30/25 Full Review Jasmeen B I found it really good, it was nice to see Saif Ali Khan back on screen. Sure it has some flaws but it’s a re-watchable movie, not like what has been recently coming out from Bollywood. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/25 Full Review Read all reviews
