Roy L This seems derivative from "Outlander" and "Call The Midwife", and some of the acting style seemed straight out "Seven Samurai". But the story is compelling, and it is well edited. As a period piece time travel medical procedural, it gives a nice picture from Japanese perspective of the end of the Edo period and the samurai rule.
