In this 1970s overdub of noir serials of the '40s and '50s, The Chief (Peter Bergman) and his assistant, Agent Barton (Phil Proctor), head the "J-Men." This government agency is tasked with saving the world from the Lightning Bug, a shape-shifting villain hell-bent on conquering the world through debauchery and rock 'n' roll. Despite a series of outrageous catastrophes -- including the destruction of the moon -- the J-Men must try to stop Lightning Bug once and for all.
