Kathryn VanArendonk New York Magazine/Vulture Now More Than Ever gives Early a graceful opportunity to blend several types of comedy into one unified hour. Jul 10, 2023 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) It’s involved, detailed stand-up, a genuine performance. And Early makes it look easy. Jul 6, 2023 Full Review Murtada Elfadl Variety Amusingly enough, Early succeeds in leaving his audience wanting more, even when that means more mockery of themselves. Jul 1, 2023 Full Review Farah Cheded A Good Movie To Watch Early is a master at character-building, and the way he manages to unearth sincerity even amidst all this self-satirization speaks to both his comedic and dramatic genius, making this hourlong show a testament to just how deserving he is of the spotlight. Rated: 79/100 Jul 26, 2023 Full Review Coleman Spilde The Daily Beast It’s difficult to synthesize the comedian’s mannerisms and delivery into the written word. But that’s what makes Now More Than Ever such a delightful romp through Early’s psyche: It’s unpredictable, and has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Jun 29, 2023 Full Review Ricky Valero Ready Steady Cut John Early is a rare one-of-a-kind talent that delivers some incredibly entertaining moments for an hour straight. Is it perfect? No, but that doesn’t matter, as you will sit back and enjoy a fun, unique special. Rated: 4/5 Jun 25, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

chelsea m Amazing special, loved it from beginning to end non stop laughs. John is a comedic genius and this special “gave me all the feels” Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/03/24 Full Review Aaron L His first special… and hopefully his last. He should stick to acting and skits— it was actually difficult to watch this to the end (even with alcohol). Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/14/23 Full Review david b Must be a generational thing. Reminds me of UG in the theater department hanging out in the lounge. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/23 Full Review Maggie M fresh funny and on the money <3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/11/23 Full Review Katie R John Early the most talented comedian I've witnessed in a decade. This special reminded me of Sandra Bernhard's Without You I'm Nothing from the early 90s. Witty, theatrical and with an irony that is cutting and brilliant. Love his ability to mock himself, and those who take their social media personas way too seriously. Love the backstage scenes, and the song performances. He's a really good singer! The that his parents were there, and the attention he puts on them, is just comic brilliance! Don't miss this! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/16/23 Full Review Connor M Original, true, and funny.
