Retired super-assassin John Wick's plans to resume a quiet civilian life are cut short when Italian gangster Santino D'Antonio shows up on his doorstep with a gold marker, compelling him to repay past favors. “I can assure you, that the stories you hear about this man, if nothing else, have been watered down” This is timeless action. It’s never not going to be good. It’s crazy to think that out of the 4 John Wicks, this could be the lowest.. but don’t get it twisted.. this is a damn good movie. This was the bridge that allowed the rest of the franchise to be built. Instead of a sub par sequel, we get a glimpse of just how big the John Wick universe is. Layer after layer, from the continental codes of conduct to the high table being established. This is the movie where JW realizes, to get out he might just have to kill everyone.
