Audience Member The film is visually stunning! Conscious self-awareness is explored through an epic elaboration of Brian Swimme transcendental perspective of mortality which left me with a profound gratitude for the life I have been given. Anecdotes of the survival challenges wildlife are facing put into proportion my own daily problems alleviating pressure I often place on myself as I seek progress and success. Language makes us distinctly human, and the narration is laden with priceless, mindful diction resonating the wealth of knowledge shared in this film. JOTU explores not only the depths of the universe, but the human potential in the creation of meaning through enlightened purpose. Absolutely Fantastic. It is beautiful and inspiring! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member in one short hour, the host of this film Evolutionary philosopher (Brian Swimme) retells the 14 billion year story of our universe from the great flaring forth to the crossroads at which we stand today as a species. If you enjoyed / learned from watching Sagan's Cosmos or Campbell's Power of Myth, both epic presentations), Journey of the Universe should be your next visit to the proverbial philosophical fountain. It might well change your life perspective. It did mine. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
