Some of the Ju-on movies are a bit hit and miss, but the shorter run time works well on these two, and this one in particular I watched alone in the house in the dark, and I jumped several times! This 10 year anniversary sequel to The Grudge is only an hour long bnut it feels much more substantial than that. Another film was released at the same time Ju-On : White Ghost. This features the story of a group of characters who encounter The Grudge. Still a scary concept and well executed.
