A veil abruptly descends over the busy Shibuya area amid the bustling Halloween crowds, trapping countless civilians inside. Satoru Gojo, the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, steps into the chaos. Is it a movie borrowing bits from a TV show? A TV show dressed up as a movie? Does it matter? It certainly doesn’t, if all you need is spectacular and imaginatively staged battle sequences.

Although Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution delivers an exciting preview for what’s to come, I wish the Shibuya stuff were more extended, especially the fight between Mahoraga and Sukuna.

Why was it so short this shit was ass bru and it just the flip from intense fighting to the calmest environment ever threw me off. Why was the recap longer than the movie itself.

I enjoyed it, but have not watched the entire series. My son has, and was very disappointed. He said that more than half the film was recap of what happened in the series leading up to the "execution". I guess for someone who does not watch the show, it didn't leave you completely in the dark as to what was going on. But definitely not enough of a movie to make it a separate movie from the series.
