Audience Member This is the best Ronald Reagan movie I've ever seen and he's quite good in it. He and Ann Sheridan have some chemistry and the story holds up. It is about Danny and Steve who are migrant farm workers who wind up in Cat Tail, Florida. Ronald Reagan and Ann Sheridan give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Curtis Bernhardt did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama. Ann Sheridan is the title juke girl who helps President Reagan fight evil, heartless corporations. Besides the novelty of arch conservative Reagan standing up for the rights of the working man, it's actually a fairly engaging, if silly, melodrama.
