Audience Member This is the best Ronald Reagan movie I've ever seen and he's quite good in it. He and Ann Sheridan have some chemistry and the story holds up. Curtis Bernhardt shows a strong, deft directorial hand throughout. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review ashley h Juke Girl is a decent film. It is about Danny and Steve who are migrant farm workers who wind up in Cat Tail, Florida. Ronald Reagan and Ann Sheridan give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Curtis Bernhardt did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Ronald Reagan plays a simple migrant farmer fighting rich fat cats. Ann Sheridan is the title juke girl who helps President Reagan fight evil, heartless corporations. Besides the novelty of arch conservative Reagan standing up for the rights of the working man, it's actually a fairly engaging, if silly, melodrama. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a bad film but it tries to cover too much territory, the plight of the farmer, unionization and mob rule, for one stock drama. Some good performances but an average movie.
