Daniel Radcliffe does right by Jungle's fact-based story with a clearly committed performance, even if the film around him doesn't always match his efforts. Read critic reviews

Though flawed and downright disturbing, it's extremely amazing and superbly exciting! A true thrilling adventure in the jungle, led by one of Daniel Radcliffe's most amazing performances!

Well-done survival movie that's based on a true story and it fairly accurately told. That makes this a compelling watch.

Jungle is certainly not my worst film of 2017, but I think it might just be the most disappointing. I'm a *massive* fan of Greg McLean, and the trailer had me proper on board with Jungle. Unfortunately, the end result was something capable of capturing my interest only once, and for no longer than a couple of minutes.

Radcliffe is up to the task of furthering himself from the long shadow of his Hogwarts past in this real life tale of a European Westerner looking for something more than the standard paths of his assigned life, only to find himself lost in the jungle in a bit of tragic parental karmic fate. Alas, the story does little though to delve into his psyche other than the adolescent urge to break free limiting our possible responses to the lead character's angst. Nonetheless, a decent survival tale howbeit with few unforeseen twists and turns.
