Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Rondo Hatton portrays Moloch the Brute; he's the best thing in this lackluster effort. Rated: 2/4 Jun 21, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The makeup for the Ape Woman is eerily similar to Planet of the Apes some 20+ years later. Of the trilogy, this is the best one. Unfortunately, by this point Acquanetta was a diplomat in Mexico leaving behind her acting career. The memorable Rondo Hatton appears as Moloch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The atmosphere is all but non-existent, any Gothic horror negated by 1940s cars, cities and patter, and since there is no way in blazes this is going to work as a science fiction film either, the whole thing is left stranded on the sharp reefs of indifference.
